Greg Jackson studied BA Photography at AUB and since graduating he has lived and practiced in Melbourne (AUS), South East Asia and now resides in Brighton (UK). His interests lie between Photography, Graphic / Web Design & curation.

During his time at AUB, Greg hosted an exhibition at “Open Space” gallery in Boscombe which he and a few other people ran. This was where Halftone started.

Halftone exhibition is run on an open submission base, and is a celebration of the self-published – ranging from Zines to Photobooks from a world-wide community of artists. With over 200 publications currently in its collection, the books are published online and curated for exhibitions around the country. Halftone allows a unique platform for artists to display their publication and let it reach a larger audience.

With a keen interest in the self-published scene Greg has run Halftone Books Exhibition since 2012, which allows both an online and physical library from a global range of artists.  The exhibition has travelled to Bournemouth, Exeter, Bristol and Copenhagen and is now open for submissions for its Summer Brighton show. It continues to expand since its establishment back in 2012 to its forthcoming exhibition in June 2016.
