Deborah Guy is a Level 6 BA (Hons) Fine Art student at Arts University Bournemouth. This is what she says about her project “Corporationism”.

My work is psychosocial offering a critique of perceived norms, devolving to areas such as sexuality, gender identity, and ageism and the effects that these concepts have on us and how art can suffuse or destabilize these norms.

The work I produce is psychologically challenging with the effect of alienation, disenfranchisement and anxiety.

I don’t set out to delineate a narrative, it arises out of process thorough a process of unconscious reflecting and chance happenings. Ideas are resolved through making and the mixing up of ideologies.
