Hannah// Honest labels is a campaign aimed at bringing awareness and the honest truth to consumers about what they are consuming when eating meat, eggs and dairy, and the damaging effects that those products have on their health: something supermarkets and food brands fail to mention when promoting meat and dairy produce.


Using bold typography and a somewhat crude choice of words, the campaign reveals to the viewer the honest truth behind the common thoughts, myths and statements made regarding the “benefits” of these products, without censorship and instead with complete honesty with the aim to stun consumers and make them think twice when purchasing or consuming these foods and encouraging them to take small steps to improve their health.


Shortly after this projects completion, it was exhibited in an exhibition space Liverpool among work from other design students. The exhibition space also doubled as a cafe which really put the effectiveness of my campaign to the test.


The campaign posters were quickly proven to be a success as after just a few days into the exhibition, My work was taken down after numerous customer complaints that it way putting them off their food.
